Reflection 2

In the unit4, I have learnt about music in the class, including same old song, top 40 webhunt, Lady Gaga, rap, NPR: all songs considered, and a presentation about music. The more I have studied about music, the more I know beyond the lyrics and rhyme. Before taking this class, I just fucus on the melody of the songs, or whether the videos of the songs look interesting. I really hadn't known about the issue of songs before I started to explore it. But I find that it was too difficult to figure out the issue, such as violence and language. To many people, they just don't like to spend time on the background of the songs. The main important function of music is entertain people in their boring life. I remember that my teacher required me to watch a video of Lady Gaga's telephone. Honestly, I watch this video several times, but I didn't know that there is some information about the strong women in this video. It reminded me of the Beyonce's song, If I Were A Boy, which song Yongbin presented. As far as I am concerned, this unit is a funniest part of the course because I like listening music in my leisure time. I believe that listening music , especially the soft music, can make my nerve system relax and calm down even though I am under the heavy stress. At last, I have a bumper sticker for this unit, and it is "music for relax, also for developing thinking".
