My Reflection about Culture Study

In this unit, I get overall information about culture. Before learning this unit, I just know that culture is a kind of custom in different countries. For now, I have already known the iceberg model of culture and learnt some culture shock. Culture is not only a word to me, but also a reflection of civilization. Generally speaking, there are four characteristics of culture, including inculturation, shared, adaptive and symbolically expressed and transmitted. Our culture perverse thousands of years, and it is passing from generations to generations. It presents human beings’ civilization.  In our daily life, there are plenty of examples relative to culture. Local customs is a branch of culture. Besides, eyes contact is also a kind of culture. I don’t know that culture includes eyes contact and attitudes. I just knew some general knowledge about culture. Moreover, I am able to create a poster by using glogster. It is interesting to me. Honestly, it is my first time to use this software. Therefore, I explored how to create a poster and it took me a whole afternoon to finish a perfect poster. After completing a poster, I praised myself, because I am not good at computer. It is a good starting for me to get familiar with my computer.  Finally, I want to get more knowledge about American culture, because I have to live here for many years. If I don't understand enough American culture, I will look like an alien not a residence here. In this way, I can know the reason why American people action like this, and what the meaning they said, and so on. In a word, my adventure of American culture is beginning right now.
