How time flies, I have learned pop culture for all this semester. During this semester, I get overall information about culture.Generally speaking, there are four characteristics of culture, including inculturation, shared, adaptive and symbolically expressed and transmitted. In fact, I have done a lot in this class. To some extends, I introduced Johnny Depp who is one of popular actors in America on the pop stars presentation, for I am fond of his good acting skills. I also got other stars’ information from my classmates, for example, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Magic Johnson and so on. What the most impressive is that Johnny Depp acted in Indies movie before being famous. Actually, I was shocked by what Tyler Perry did. I consider that Perry is a brave founder. He realized that the black people’s market is huge so that it could make lots of money if black people go to see a film in the theater. Tyler Perry is a successful businessman and makes plenty of money. As far as I am concerned, music is a funniest part of the course because I like listening music in my leisure time. At last, I learned different pop culture from my classmates' presentations. It is a wonderful time to know more about pop culture. It is worth taking this class even though the assignments were a little bit more. sometimes, I could find fun from web explore.
